  I have seen soft plastic clear safety goggles where the lens area is one
piece and can be replaced by snapping it free of the molded edges. These could
readily be fitted to a cutout in the veil with silicone caulk and when the
lens becomes obscured it can be replaced. It would also not be terribly
difficult to fit some veil to a hard plastic face shield such as one would
wear in a lab.
