I worry about the disparity among plant timings, and you didn't mention (or think about?) plants: Blooming too early, lack of nectar, blooming too late, and other problems associated with too-early warm spells. It's not the average temperature that matters right now, it's more the extremes. Seventy degree F temperatures for a week in March here in the Northeastern USA followed by sub-zero in April really messes up the plants and damages forage for the bees.
