Ivan,

I wouldnt expect the best site to have more than 12 hours of sunlight
even under the best conditions and longest days of the year. I would
focus on strong hives and quick (same day or next day) honey
extraction. These are sugestions Kieth Tignor stated a while back and
I look at them like wax moths, cant do anything about them but keep
strong hives and take care of your comb/honey extraction.

SHB has been in va for some time now especially down east...
