Allen Dick suggested it would be of interest to publish a simple method
for searching previous posts of BEE-L for particular topics. I have had
some success with the following method: Send a message to the listserver
that handles the BEE-L list ( [log in to unmask] ) containing only
the line:
 
SEARCH BEE-L  tracheal mites
 
It will return a list of posts that contain the words "tracheal mites".
 
You can then get the posts with a message containing the line:
 
GETPOST BEE-L 13643
 
It will return a copy of post number 13643
