IF mom is having no pain and IF baby is gaining well, then I do nothing
about the tongue tie other than inform mom in case she wants to avoid
speech problems later.

I have had two cases of excellent weight gain and no pain lately.  One
baby's father still wants the surgery done (hard to find a doctor here who
will do it as they are on Public Assistance and there is no one in our area
who has agreed to do it).  He had it done as a young boy and remembers the
difficulty of correcting his speech...
