Marijke, could this be bromperidol rather than bromoperidol? Your
spelling gets me 31 hits on google, "bromperidol" gets me 562. A
similar butyrophenone, haloperidol, is listed as "Drugs for Which the
Effect on Nursing Infants Is Unknown but May Be of Concern*". See this

in this case the woman and her psychiatrist need to make a decision
about the potential risks to the baby vs the potential risks to the
mother from changing medications- this all depends how unstable her
condition might be.
