Dear Lactnet Friends:

Sometimes a punch biopsy done by a dermatologist and vigorous massage to
clear the thickened milk in the duct behind the open nipple pore is the
only solution.

The massage can take sometime, depending on how long the bleb has been
there. The longest a client had a bleb in my practice was 2 months.

A girlfriend with recurrent blebs found her solution by pumping 3 times per
work shift, instead of twice.

Is her bra too tight? Is she taking out enough milk regularly enough?

warmly,
