The only thing which would likely affect the reading is a removal of the
leads which are stuck to her chest.  Wiggling of wires alone would be
unlikely to have much effect unless it loosened these leads.  The Holter
monitor comes with a diary in which the patient fills in any symptoms
he/she experiences during the monitoring period.  The mother could enter
the time of any wiggling of wires which the child may make, so that any
artifacts on the tracing could be properly interpreted.  Hope this
