Wow, this is so interesting to me because I grew up just south of 
Newburgh, NY (and still live there, even closer now!) and had no idea 
this is where water fluoridation began.

I have avoided fluoride supplements for both of my children (one boy 
and one girl) because of information I read concerning fluoride's 
possible carcinogenic effects, as well as overuse of fluoride 
contributing to brittle bones instead of stronger ones.  

I find the connection between fluoride and onset of puberty to be very 
interesting.  Thanks for sharing it.
