Dear Cathy,

Sounds like one of my "favorite" pediatricians who tells moms that they must
give baby 1-2 ounces of formula after every breastfeed to prevent jaundice
or the baby could die! He also tells them that only 6 people can hold their
baby or it will end up in the hospital and it won't be his fault. Where do
they get these ideas? (Mary Kay, you know who I'm talking about.)

Linda Anderegg, RNC, IBCLC
