One of our friendly reps stopped by the hospital today with a new marketing
tool. Fortune cookies. The ad is a really cute picture of a happy baby sitting
by a crystal ball with several fortune cookies nearby. The ad reads "You don't
need a fortuneteller to solve feeding problems . . . " The cookies were in
cellophane wrap with the brand name of the soy formula printed on it. When the
cookie is opened, you read your fortune. The following were "fortunes" found
inside 3 of the cookies:
"The I***** commitment to research: Studies involving over 4,800 infants!"
 "I*****: Heritage plus innovation!"
"With I*****, you can rest assured: Growth, tolerance, calcium absorption!"

These marketing people must be working overtime!
