Val,
That about brought tears to my eyes. Both of my older children kissed my
breasts when they were 4 years old after a break of over 1 to 1 1/2 years
since last breastfeeding, and it did turn out to be a farewell kiss in both
cases. I was reluctant since I had weaned them both so long before, but let
them do it. No, they didn't want to make a habit of it, which was my fear in
letting them do it. My 5 year old still wants on though, I pretty much had to
force wean him off about 6 months ago, and my almost 4 year old is still
nursing a few times a day :D How our perceptions change as we get older and
WISER.
