Jan, I was there, too.  She did say that oxytocin given by IV didn't cross
the blood brain barrier.  She also said that being given IV oxytocin
interferres with our body's release of oxcytocin.  Our body gets the message
that there's enough circulating, so doesn't release any, or as
much--something to that effect if I'm remembering correctly.  I took pretty
good notes but I left them at the office.  Will post them tomorrow if I get a
chance to go by the office.  Keitha :)
