< I need to retest next year and was thinking about pickingup a few extra
books that will be good for studying for the IBLCE exam and for referencing
once practicing. I have Ruth Lawrence's text, Jan Riordan's text, the
Breastfeeding Answer guide and The Womanly Art. I came across these titles
and was wondering if anyone out there might have a review, or can help me
narrow the list down for me. Which do you think are essential?
Thanks in advance!

Case Studies in Breastfeeding and Problem Solving Caldwell & Turner
Core Curriculum for LC Practice Walker
Comprehensive LC Exam Review Smith
Counseling the Nursing Mother Lauwers & Swisher
Feeding and Swallowing Disorders in Infancy Wolf and Glass>

All of these have much to recommend them, some seem more dedicated to the
science of test-taking, while others seem dedicated to factual information.
When I settled on what to use to brush up in preparation for my recent
exam, I found this one seemed "on the cutting edge", very interesting,
clear and well-referenced. I predict that many more will discover it so:
