I started a support group at the hospital that met for 1 hour from
11am-12pm EVERY week. It made a huge difference in my attitude because I
could SEE that what I was doing was really making a difference. I stopped
trying to "save the world." The group now has about 20 moms that regularly
attend. I finally had to start suggesting that some of them form a play
group and move on due to lack of space. My favorite quote from my friend
Liz Klehr was "you can't care more than they (the mothers)do!! My
suggestion is to help the mothers that REALLY want your help and let the
others make their own choices!!
