Hi Steffany
There is this paper that might help

Oddy WH. A review of the effects of breastfeeding on respiratory infections,
atopy, and childhood asthma. [Review] [190 refs]. Journal of Asthma.
2004;41(6):605-21.

When reading these papers you need to look out for misclassification error -
where infants exposed to artificial milks are classified as 'breastfeeding'.
Only papers that make good account of their definitions of 'breastfeeding'
are high quality research. There should be an 'exclusively breastfed' (no
other foods or fluids at all) group.

Cheers
