tree oil for sore nipples

I have had a request for information about the use of tree oil as an
antifungal agent for nipple thrush. The baby is also receiving the tree oil
to the mouth( 5 drops of tree oil to 250 mls of water and swabbed in the
mouth). I have no knowledge in this area. TIA
