     This is a long shot...my son used to bop on and off my breast like that
(only faster) when I had eaten raw onion or something peppery.  He'd latch,
nurse briefly then pull off and make a terrible face like my milk tasted
aweful.  Maybe she should try a bland limited diet for a week and then
gradually add things in until she identifies the offenders?
