I wanted to recognize Elizabeth's very gentle, caring way of making a
difference with her patients. I think we all know at some level that people
tend to do what they feel is best with the knowledge they have at the time.
Elizabeth has shown us a way that we can leave the door open to future
changes by thoughtfully and gently providing information that will make
parents realize how powerful their decisions can be.
My mother must have known yours, Elizabeth, because she also feels
responsible for any shortcomings of anyone in the generations after hers!
I know that I have my fair share of experiences that make me want to spit
nails, but I love to be reminded that we attract many more flies with honey
than with vinegar. (or is that bees with Mt. Dew...)
