Another "sample of one"...
My son is 10 years and nursed for 19 months. He is not well emotionally
(bi-polar mood disorder, autism, ODD, ADHD, etc) and we have struggled for
years to keep him happy and healthy. He was also very ill as a baby and
toddler with severe croup, otitis media, eczema, conjunctivitis, etc. His
physical health lately has been ok except when he gets ill he gets *really*
ill. He was born 4 weeks early after several weeks of PTL and PIH.
I firmly believe that he would have been a formula casualty had he been
artificially fed. No doubt in my mind that he would not have survived his
infancy.
