Betsy,

How about if the Mom uses cradle or cross cradle hold at left breast and
then instead of "flipping" the baby around for the right breast, she
keeps baby in the same position and slides him over into more of a
football hold. Works with newborns. Head stays in the same plane and
baby doesn't get disoriented(?).  What do you think, all?
