Interesting situation.  Will be interested in what the wise ones have to
say.  I do know something about  Thick-it .    In November,  my stepmom
suffered a stroke on her right side.  She was put on thickened liquids
because her swallowing was delayed & they were afraid that she would
aspirate.  I read the can & found that it contained cornstarch.
Thickened water looked nasty & she said that it felt & tasted bad.  I
would think that it would be hard to get the concoction  to go through a
nipple hole.
