I posted too soon again, but after visiting the site have still not come
to an understanding about the difference of diet in breastfed and
non-breastfed diets. Are people suggesting that combination feeding or
early introduction of solids have a differential and negative effect on
those children breastfed longer?
Yes, please send responses to the article so I can visit the website
again and read them. It's a good way for me to learn about research!

I think it is hard to know, with certainty, what impact things can have.
What I am pretty sure about though, comes from my dh's work on
anti-racism and freedom of speech. The best way to counteract hateful or
misleading or poorly-thought-out statements is to publish, publish,
publish *good* stuff.
