Good luck with your endeavor.  I started my own Nature Center/Museum
two years ago.
I also have a real job that pays so I can volunteer to run the museum.
 I think the key is to get your name out there and get people through
the door so the bills can be paid.  We are non-profit, but still a
business and that means generating revenue to cover expenses and allow
us to continue our education mission.  If you have any questions I
