this from exhibitionist editor and all around museum maven Gretchen Jennings.

Eric Siegel

APA pub manual, which is what I use for Exhibitionist and is used for most scientific publications, doesn’t have a specific rule for exhibitions. But for things other than books or journals, like tv shows, movies, etc, they say:
> In the author space, list main creators , e.g. producer, director, then date, then title italicized (first word only capitalized) and after that the type of media it is in brackets [television broadcast or motion picture] city or country: network or film company. I would use this format:
>
> Key team members. (2010). A really big show [museum exhibition]. New York, NY: Brooklyn Museum.
>
> If you don’t want to name multiple team members in the author space, maybe put the museum name as author, and just end with city and state. Hope this helps. G
