ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers

Hello, Sean:

What do you want to show? If you want to show network topology, you
can use a switchboard type interactive. I always wanted to try a
multiple "telephone on a string" type exhibit, with several tin-can
phones feeding into a central connection. If you want to show
internet kind of network stuff, then you can try something like a
pachinko board to represent routers and packets. There have been a
number of exhibits about networked communications. Networld in
Chicago, the communications exhibition at the Tech, Ann Arbor did
some things related to this, and we did an exhibition called
Connections:The Nature of Networks about all kinds of networks, not
so focused on computer networks.

Hope this helps.
