So, Lorne -
The Eames Foundation does not allow modification of the original exhibition, so we did a separate extension of the timeline by adding a fairly subdued interactive display to the right with a trackball to scroll through the different mathematicians. It uses a similar graphical and color scheme to the rest of the timeline. We even have our old buddy Benoit Mandelbrot on there. Of course that was about 6 years ago, so it is already out of date :)
