Hey Hist-archers,
Sometime back, someone out there was asking about Spanish log-building construction. I sorta recall some anecdotal notions passing back and forth, but am not sure if anything definitive came of it.
Well, I just received a reference entitled "Spanish Log Construction in New Mexico" by Charles Frederick Gritzner, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. It might be a dissertation, so interested parties should check UMI. Or start with Google or Abebooks.com.
No idea whether this is a definitive work, but perhaps it will be useful.
Buena suerte,
Jeff
