I attended that Richmond SHA and, following several days of Urban Archaeology
Forum in Alexandria, Virginia, got dropped at a wonderful wild party at a
mansion with Greek columns in the foyer and a staircase that literally had
been shot for a scene in Gone With The Wind. It was that party where I got to
meet all the fine folks that would set out the rest of that conference.
Mixers every night are a good idea, something which most conference
organizers fail to consider.
