Perhaps the problem generates partially from the "categorizing" of music.
If young people are shown that there is a relationship between what they
like in popular forms of current music and the classical "types," they
will not feel that they are being forced-fed (listening to what is
educational and what they "should" be exploring) or that they are walking
through museum of "old" music.
