I am partial to Lenny's version with the VPO on DG coupled with the
"Oxford."

Szell recorded the 88th in monaural sound and I am hoping that Sony
Masterworks Heritage will reissue that in the near future.

I found the Furtwangler 88th a bit too stodgy for my tastes.
