Gene Halaburt fields a question concerning James Levine and Parkinson's
disease:

>No idea. Maybe Denis knows more?

Parkinson's is just one rumor of several circulating here (even AIDS has
been imputed). Be it as it may, he has certainly had a health problem,
or maybe it was problems. It's interfered, now and then, with his duties.
But having experienced him at rehearsals there's no symptom as arresting
as his bulk and the way the man sweats. He's grotesquely overweight.
Conducting in a T-shirt he still needed a bath towel to sponge himself
dry between movements. At that, he's not all that gymnastic a bandmaster.
