Hello all. Still enjoying my Novak and Schreker on Chandos. BTW, just
a post-script: Even though activist extraordinaire Lady Godiva, (that
famous advocate of the peasantry), is featured on the front cover of the
Novak, (wearing nothing but her horse), Tower apparently wasn't moved--and
unblushingly stamped an $18.99 pricetag right next to her disapproving eye.
Ironic isn't it.
Has anyone had a chance to hear "Joseph's Legende," with Sinopoli and the
Dresden? Besides opinions on the performance, I would also like opinions
about the recording and audience presence, as it was a live recording.
John Smyth (contemplating riding naked through Tower's Classical Annex on
his horse in protest)
