If you ever get the chance, listen to the EMI CD of Boult conducting a
performance of Tchaikovsky Suite #3 coupled with the Capriccio Italian
and March Slav.  You may very well change your ideas about Sir Adrian's
conducting Russian music.  What a recording!!!  WOW!
