However, there are non-British holders of knighthoods who do use the
title, Sir Charles Mackerras being one example.  Not to cloud the issue,
but shouldn't a list include such people as Sir Malcolm Arnold, who has
conducted a number of recordings of his own music, or are we concerned
with people who are better-known as conductors?
