IMHO any of the several recordings that Heifetz made of this concerto
are well worth having.  Milstein, Oistrakh and Kogan all made wonderful
recordings too.  My most recent favorite is with Maxim Vengerov with
Claudio Abbado and the Berlin Philharmonic on Teldec 4509-90881-2.
