I have found that the chamber music recordings on Naxos are very well
performed.  The Haydn string quartets and the Shostakovich string quartets
are well played and a bargin at $5 per CD.  I did not like the performances
of the Bruckner symphonies or the Shostakovich symphonies.  The Barber of
Seville was outstanding.  Naxos is a mixed bag to be sure, but then again,
so is DG or Sony.
