Yes, but I forgot to add: Tafelmusik this Saturday, the Lafayette Quartet
closing their Beethoven cycle with OP.130 (with Grosse Fugue as finale) on
the 26th, and Gary Karr and Harmon Lewis appearing as soloists with our
local chamber orchestra on the 31st.  The two M8s are on April 1 & 2.

I also attended a stunning 20th century concert last week (well Verklaerte
Nacht in the 1943 arrangement) which closed with Andriessen's De Stijl for
four amplified female voices and his "terrifying 21st century orchestra",
Ives' Unanswered Question and Bartok's Music for Strings, Percussion and
Celesta the week before that - and a splendid Les Illumnations last Sunday.

God I love this town!
