>The video also makes the point that even though results from seed
treatment may vary, and performance may vary from location to location
and from year to year they likely will pay off in the long run.

Why take a chance on problems right?

Not IPM but again why risk a not so perfect crop.

I notice you did not respond to the Bayer claim we would need to plant another three million acres of corn to make up for the loss from pests if the seed treatment was not used.(Bayer opinion)

which with over a 100 million acres being planted this year came out to a 3 % loss.(if the actual loss is real?)

I think Randy makes a good point.

>Hypothetically, but are a majority of the actually corn and soybean
farmers complaining?

Once on the chemical treadmill what can most do. All in! (poker term)

Modern Marvels (History channel) has an excellent program on corn. From its humble beginnings to today.
A decent & fair in many ways presentation. Nothing about the neonics but parts about HFCS and ethanol.

 >Or just those on the outside looking in (e.g.
academics, anti-pesticide & anti-biotechnology organizations, some
beekeepers and alot of city folks)?

A lot is two words Paul.

You forgot environmentalists and those concerned for our kids and grand kids future.
