Hi All,

I can't find Juanse's orginal post about varroa being a problem in South
Africa, but I have been corresponding with Mike Allsopp there. He says that
varroa is still simply an incidental pest, is only a problem in the
occasional hive, and does not cause widespread collapse.

However, they are currently having serious problems with AFB, to which they
previously thought that the African bees were immune to.
