There follows an extract from I mail I received this morning from Nicola  
Bradbear of Bees for Development, the international charity that guides  
people in developing countries to make part of their living from bees.

I  am in east Africa these weeks – Varroa is here but nobody is noticing 
any  problems because of the extensive, chemical free practices.  However 
sooner  or later there will be misguided projects to ‘control’ this Varroa  
situation.
