Yes, it is a beautiful work, restrained for Satie, - and it is called Mass
for the Poor.  On the subject of masses in this century, do not overlook
the Janacek Slavonic Mass.  Poulenc wrote liturgical music and I believe
that there is a mass setting among these.  There is also the Bernstein Mass
and of course, the Britten War Requiem.  And recently I came across a
wonderful Frank Martin Mass,
