I am not familiar with the Alexander String Quartet, but reviews have been
generally favorable.  However, I understand that the Alban Berg versions
from the 80's are now avaiable on EMI Redline at $6.99 per disc.  What more
could a person want at that price? I'll probably be reading postings within
a few hours criticizing the Alban Berg for a lack of warmth and emotion.
