A CPO disc of string quartets by Friedrich Cerha arrived at my home
yesterday. I started listening to it late last night; all I can say at
this point is that the music sounds like it's from another galaxy. I was
very tired and kept dozing off, but the music woke me up frequently -
obviously not the conditions to appreciate a Cerha compostition. I'll
keep at it today during my more alert moments.

Are there any strong musical similarities between Cerha and Rosenberg?
