Stockhausen used some apparatus, I don't know much about, which filtered
away the "overtones" a tone consist of, and left was only the pure tone,
and with those he built what he called "scientific accords". He mixes them
with real musical accords, and what he gets he calls "Scientific Music" -
Wissenschaftliche Musik. Yeah!
