Although everybody seems to feel that this masterpiece is worn out/outdated
beyond repair due to extensive use, I still like this piece.  Actually
figurations employed here is very originalin piano works, I think.

As a Mendelssohn's fan, I also recommend his astonishing and quite
exhilarating Octet, 4th movement, Prelude and fugue Op.35-6, "spinning
song", and so on, for springtime.

Personally I always tend to associate Franck's violin sonata with four
seasons, as following;

1st movt: evening in autumn
2nd movt: summer storm
3rd movt: depressive winter
4th movt: spring!

Especially, I really love the abrupt-but-truly effective change in key from
3rd movt.  to 4th movt.
