Recently, an American friend gave me the first of - apparently - 2 CDs
recorded by Kurt Rodarmer, which contains the Aria plus the first ten
Goldberg Variations arranged for two, three, and four guitars. I think the
recording was made privately - the version I have is on a recordable CD and
has a note from Rodarmer, asking people to contact him with comments about
the work so that he "can address any problems before the full CD gets
released."

Does anybody know about this CD? Has he finished the Goldbergs - and have
they been released commercially? And what do people like Jon think about it
(if he has heard it). I find the whole thing almost OTT in its romantic
approach - although apparently (according to quotes on the liner), Joaquin
Rodrigo is impressed by Rodarmer.
