Paul Mackay asked about the recent Celi/Bruckner cycle:
>Is it not rather under DG label?
While DGG has just issued the first in its large-scale (100 CD?) Celi
edition - the Brahms symphonies - the Bruckner cycle, comprising symphonies
3-9 as well as the F-minor mass and the Te Deum, was indeed issued by EMI
as a set (cat. 7243 5 56688 2 0) - and is now available individually as
well.
http://www.dgclassics.com/ gives the following information:
This first release in the Celibidache Edition includes a free bonus CD of
a Stuttgart rehearsal of the first movement of the Brahms Symphony No. 4
Check out the INTERNET INTERVIEW with SERGE CELEBIDACHI, the conductor's
son, the SWR Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra and DEUTSCHE GRAMMOPHON
