That's how I'm beginning to feel about Mr Satz's comments (excepting
Bruckner) so if I can scout a bargain on it I will add it to my collection.
For the last year and a half I've lived very happily with Hans Vonk's
traversal with Kolner Rundfunk-Sinfonie-Orchester (Digital) on EMI Forte.
I'd heard him perform Symphony #2 with the St Louis Symphony during his
inaugaral season as Music Director of the SLSO and found his
interpretations delicate and well-shaped.
