A friend introduced me to his violin concerto a few months ago, and it
is very palatable.  Forthright burst onto the scene by the violin from
the first few seconds, and goes on without stopping, one of the truely
attention grabbing concertos (The beginning remind me of Nielsen's vln
con.  very much).

I got his 24 preludes and sonata No.2 for cello myself, but that still
leaves me scratching my head....
